The Seat Leon and BMW
1-Series are the same size and very stylish. The Leon is more spacious with the
security of front wheel drive and it enters with 5-doors. When you compare 1.6
engines the 1-series is more powerful, much cheaper on fuel consumption, with
way lower CO2 emissions. Plus the BMW is 5-star Euro NCAP rated with ESP as
standard. There's over £3,500 difference in the entry level price but there
will be some payback in the BMW's lower running costs and percentage
depreciation. You can buy a hot Leon for £10,000 less than an M Sport which will
throw you down the road within a split of the BM'.
